2010 Teen Showcase
Be Part of our Special Show Celebrating the New Faces of Bellydance!
This year, Raqs L.A. is proud to offer an exciting new event! In past years, the art of Bellydance (both Cabaret and Tribal) has had a growing impact on the youth of America.
Raqs L.A. intends to support and even expand this interest by not only encouraging the dancers themselves, but also by investing in their further training!
On Sunday, April 18, there will be a special show comprised of two sections: Dancers from 13-15, as well as 16-19 years of age. Each soloist will perform to their own three-minute routine on the Raqs L.A. stage. The dancers selected from each category will earn a year of classes from their instructor! Additional awards will include vouchers for seminars with the Bellydance Superstars, as well as local instructors - all compliments of Raqs L.A.! When participants are announced in the show, we will include their teacher's name.
