Hey, Dancers!
This year, Raqs L.A. is proud to offer an exciting new event! During the past three years, the artistic and creative level of both Cabaret and Tribal Bellydance presented at Raqs L.A. has blown away audiences at the beautiful Glendale Civic.
So, this year, let's hear what the audience has to say! We are hosting a Peoples' Choice Troupe Tournament - one for Saturday and one for Sunday. Each dance troupe performing on a given day will be listed on a ballot attached to the program, so everyone can vote for their favorite troupe of the day. For the participants, there's no entrance fee to take part: Just sign up to perform, bring your troupe (four or more members), your best show - and dance, dance, dance! **Troupe must conform to rules on Application to qualify for the Tournament. The trophies will be presented at the end of each day. Be sure to send your Entertainment Form early to ensure a dance space!
